Woodsy Master Bedroom Color Scheme

When choosing colors for your master bedroom it is a good idea to choose something that you will enjoy and like to spend time in. You may want to pick something that would be soothing or relaxing to you, so that it may be a peaceful retreat of sorts. Really, you could even use your favorite color just be careful. If your favorite color is purple, don’t paint your whole bedroom purple (believe me I know from experience that it doesn’t look good) however, you could have purple accents with cream as a main color.
For this woodsy master bedroom color scheme I chose the color green for a couple reasons. One being is that it fits with my color scheme idea. But the other is because it is very neutral tone wise; not to warm and not to cool. In this scheme I am however, using the green as a third accent.
This color is called Bronze Mist, this will be the main color. You could use this for the walls. This color would look nice if it were darker as well.
Ancestral, will be our first accent. If you wanted a lighter color for the walls this would be interchangeable with the Bronze Mist color. For this color you will see below I have shown it in bedding and a rug.
As I mentioned above our second accent is going be be green, in this case, Peaceful Forest. Below you will see that it is in a bed spread, bench, and pillow. You could also find some wall art with green in it, or instead use this color for a rug. If you did a larger piece like a rug you may not also want t have in a bed spread.
Here is some inspiration for you!
I just have to say that I am in LOVE with the end table with the wood piece on top (second inspiration board). I actually have a post that has a tutorial of how to do that! I think I really need to try to make it. The instructions seem really easy! You can see it in this post here:
As I mentioned before, green is supposed to be a calming color as well as a neutral tone. Is this the color you would include in your master bedroom color scheme? Or, is there a better color that calms you more?
